Dwayne Gibson, restaurant manager at the McDonald’s on Huguenot Road, has been named a 2007 Ray Kroc Award winner.

McDonald’s USA presented Gibson with the award Jan. 26 at a surprise congratulatory reception at the restaurant. McDonald’s created this award in honor of its founder to recognize superior performance. As a recipient of the award, Gibson received a prize package including a $2,500 cash award, trophy, and recognition at an awards banquet in Chicago later this year.

I have been a customer at this McDonalds for 21 years and Dwayne Gibson is the best McDonalds manager I have ever known.
He is constantly moving about the store checking to see that every thing is clean and orderly.

Mr. Gibson has managed that store for 20 years, virtually unheard of in the industry.  His dedication and loyalty is exceeded by none.  Your paper should do a followup story on this store and the American story it tells.
